Blackfoot ShirtsFive extraordinary Blackfoot shirts have resided in the Pitt Rivers Museum at Oxford University, England since 1893. They were presented by the Blackfoot in 1841 to Sir George Simpson, Governor of the Hudson's Bay Company, during his visit to Fort Edmonton. Many unanswered questions surround the 170-year old shirts – their visit will allow Blackfoot stories and knowledge to enhance existing information.

Galt visitors will appreciate their power and beauty, and the skill of their makers!
